Snapchat and Instagram Stories

I asked this question on Snapchat and Instagram.

If you are on both platforms. Do you post the same content on both?

What I mean is do you save your clip from one platform to your camera roll, then upload it to the other?

More work required

When TAP (The Advert Platform) launches on 3rd January, there is going to be more work involved in order for you to qualify for the profit share element of the business.

You now have to take 4 action steps per day in order to qualify for the full 100%.

These action steps are:

  1. Click 3 adverts in the traffic exchange which earns you 25% of the profit share.
  2. 3 Facebook shares of an advert placed on TAP which earns you 25% of the profit share.
  3. 3 Twitter posts of an advert placed on TAP which earns you 25% of the profit share.
  4. 3 links to an advert on TAP inserted into a website or blog which earns you 25% of the profit share.

So fulfilling all 4 action steps daily qualifies you for the full 100% share.

So what does this mean for me?

  1. You need a Facebook account.
  2. You need a twitter account. Sign up at
  3. You need a blog or a website. Many people opt for the blog option as it is so easy to insert links into a blog post. You can get a free WordPress blog over at

To start with you are given a 30 day grace period to get your twitter account and blog/website sorted.

Not good for business

Many bang on about what is “good for business.”

In this blog I’m going to tell you what I think is bad for business and it can undermine everything that you have ever built.

Do not take to social media and “badmouth” another business.

Even worse when a business goes through a troubled time whether it be change of management, technical issues, there are some people who were involved in the business have decided for what ever reason that they no longer want to affiliate themselves with that business.

Unfortunately some people make the fatal mistake of bashing the company they’ve decided to stop promoting, or they start to mock it and take to social media to tell everyone their disdain at that company.

If you perceive yourself to be a leader and you find yourself in a position that you feel is untenable and you no longer feel comfortable promoting a certain business. Be gracious and keep your mouth shut and move on.

Until the next time

Peace Out

MAP becomes TAP

Let’s get straight to it.

Over the weekend the 3rd Anniversary of MyAdvertisingPays took place. Mike Deese the CEO of MAP (MyAdvertisingPays) was guest of honour and he laid out the future of MAP in 2017.

Whilst I wasn’t there myself, some awesome updates were released by some of those in attendance.

One of the biggest announcements (if I read into the announcement correctly). MAP from January 3rd 2017 is going to be known as “The Advert Platform” (TAP).

Which is awesome news and it looks like big things are going to happen in 2017.

I’m not going to discuss the legal case that MAP has launched against its previous payment processor/gateway as I have already made my thoughts known and there have already been several updates posted.

No doubt this is going to send those who do not like the type of business MAP/TAP is and it will send those individuals into meltdown. But hey less focus on those people and let’s look to the future.
